Not far outside the TOP15 is Spanish athlete Fabian Beneito who, after an excellent performance, finished 23rd in his first games with a total of 371 points, making history for his country, Spain. He is the first Spanish athlete to come that close to the podium in the history of these games. Congratulations Fabi!

And talking about women’s athletes competing with Picsil, three athletes did an excellent job despite not coming in the TOP15. These athletes are: Rebecka Viteson, who came 25th with a total of 342 points, and not far behind her is Matilde Garnes, the Norwegian who gave an incredible performance and finished 33rd with a total of 195 points. And another of our athletes that we definitely need to mention is Michelle Basnet, the most recent Picsil recruit out of these three. The South African finished 37th with a total of 116 points.

And that’s almost all the Picsil athletes who took part in the 2023 Crossfit Games. But there’s one more, a young woman with a lot of potential. And that is Elia de Olmo, a Spanish athlete who competed in the 16-17 age group. She finished her first Games in 9th position with a total of 250 points after having to leave the competition without finishing due to an ankle sprain that has dragged on for months. She tells us all about it herself!

More prize money was offered this year than any other year in the history of the Crossfit Games.
This year, the money received in prizes for athletes totaled: 2.945 million dollars ($100,000 more than last year)
