Level up with our jump ropes

Jump ropes have become an essential tool if you want to boost performance in the box or in any training routine. They’re more than “just a rope”: jump ropes build cardiovascular endurance, agility, and coordination—perfect for CrossTraining and hybrid training.

At PICSIL, every jump counts. That’s why we offer a wide range of jump ropes designed to help you perform at your best in every session.

Choose the best jump rope for you

Jump ropes show up in countless CrossTraining exercises and WODs (Workout of the Day). That’s why we offer different models tailored to different levels and needs.

Choosing the right jump rope makes a real difference. Factors like rope length, cable thickness, and material directly affect performance. A rope that’s too long or too short can throw off your timing, while the cable type impacts speed, control, durability, and feel.

What are the benefits for my training?

Adding jump rope work to your routine can help you:

  • Improve cardiovascular endurance

  • Increase coordination and balance

  • Tone and strengthen muscles

  • Burn calories efficiently

  • Add variety and intensity to your daily training

Jumping rope for 30 minutes can burn roughly 310–450 calories, depending on intensity, body weight, and rest—often comparable to (or higher than) steady-state running when done at high intensity.

What’s the best type of jump rope?

The best rope depends on your goals and the skills you want to practice, such as:

  • Double-unders

  • Triple-unders

  • Side flips

  • High jumps

  • Crossovers

Your experience level and the quality you want also matter. These movements can be intense, so beginners should start with single-unders and progress gradually to more advanced skills.

How to adjust your jump rope correctly

A proper fit helps you jump smoothly and safely:

  1. Stand on the middle of the rope with your feet, arms relaxed at your sides.

  2. Pull the handles up along your body and check that they reach about armpit height.

  3. Mark that point, leaving a small extra margin on each side.

  4. Cut with pliers and reattach using the rope’s end hardware, tightening the screws.

A poorly adjusted rope can cause discomfort and make it harder to find your rhythm.

Ropes by training level

At PICSIL, we offer seven jump rope models:

  • Jump Rope ABS → Beginner

  • Jump Rope ABS-B → Beginner

  • Jump Rope Sphinx → Intermediate

  • Jump Rope BEE → Intermediate–Advanced

  • Heavy Jump Rope → Intermediate–Advanced

  • Insigne Rope → Intermediate–Advanced

All of them include interchangeable cables and are built for intensive, professional use.

  • Different handle sizes available.

Types of jump ropes you’ll find on the market

There are several types depending on your needs and jumping style:

  • Speed ropes → with high-speed bearings (single or dual bearings)

  • Heavy ropes → add extra resistance for strength and endurance

  • Hybrid / weighted systems → versatile: can feel like a speed rope or a heavier rope depending on setup

  • Personalized ropes → customized with your name, a phrase, or text

Useful add-ons and replacement parts include:

  • Weight pack → turn the Insigne rope into a 3-in-1 system
